oh thank goodness, only $400.00 more to go and i get my plane ticket all paid. one month of working at seafood city made that possible. thanks, seafoodcity. (come by and eat there, k)
this happened to me today:
i go to portsmouth to one of those cheap stores and since i heard that they have towels there for like two bucks, from my mom, i decided to go and check them out. turns out that they're like $3.50 which is more expensive than wal-mart. wal-mart, it's only $2.50. (the prices do roll back) and then, i saw hats there that were really freakin' expensive, ridiculous. so, i'm all dissapointed.
i leave the store and one lady comes to me and says "hi." then, she gives me this long story about how she's homeless and how she doesn't have any money. she has like three kids, 5, 10 and 12 and they havent' eaten in like three days. so, she was begging for some money and some change. but you know, i didn't trust her face. it didn't look that trustworthy. so, i told her that i just put the last five bucks that i had for my gas. and she coudln't look at me straight in the eye too while she was talking. now, you guys know, i'm very compassionate when it comes to giving money and stuff. but for some reason, i just didn't have compassion on that woman cause i felt like she was just lying to me. and i know what people will do just to give in to there addictions, i'm not saying that she's addicted to something, but it's more that certain that she is.
