So, Chris Woodhead (notoriously moronic former head of Ofsted who, had he done today what he did when he was a teacher would have been struck off by the GTC and possibly imprisoned) has MND and is claiming this as justification for "life isn't fair" and writing off 60% of the population to secondary moderns.
I would posit that, given Woodhead's impact on the education system and hence the life chances of thousands of young people, his argument doesn't hold a lot of water.
