Colors: white, silver; red/rose; prism/rainbow? although around here we don't really get that "colors for the dead of winter when all is grey" thing, unless it rains a lot.

early tree bloomings - persimmon, cherry plum; the greenness of moss and new grass/weeds and such from winter rains
washing tree trunks with milk, particularly birches
is this even really "Dawning"? I mean the idea is that it's supposed to be pre-dawn, kinda, if you took Greening/spring as sunrise literally, but... well, in a way the sun rises sooner here. I've already noticed that the cool/cold night air has that kind of floral dampness to it rather than the sharp barrenness of actual winter.
