To anyone hoping to get a room at the Doubletree for PantheaCon

The next room block will open tomorrow, November 21st, at noon. Best information is on their front page https://pantheacon.com/wordpress/ (not, as you might think, the Hotel and Lodging page). I recommend trying the website (code CDTPAN, not just PAN as in previous years) rather than by phone, since people complained in October that the time spent getting through a phone conversation turned out to mean rooms were all sold out by the end of the call. You really must plan to pounce right at noon if you want a chance; in October the rooms sold out in just a few minutes (some said five minutes; certainly it was less than twenty).
