Harry Potter Panel
I went to the Harry Potter panel today!!!! I still cannot believe that there are some HP maniacs around university like me. wow! The interesting part is that there were 2 10 years old boys who were quite enthusiastic about HP. They actually have amazing theories about future of HP universe and also the past of HP in Hogwarts era. One of them even said in a very cool way to forget about Snape being good as he is a perfect occlumens and could hide his true self from DD. wow! He's only 10 years old! Then he said as ghosts were restless and sad creatures maybe Harry can be back as a ghost (he appereantly thinks that Harry is not happy) and so there'll be more books. We all stood there shocked and clapped him. Interesting really.
We also talked about the possibility of an book 8. Maybe there'll be. Then the great part. *insert drums* I started to talk about fanfiction and the slash world. Appereantly one of the speakers knows a lot about them and just like me, he spends his nights and days reading them! Then I talked about interesting couples in slash like Voldemort/Harry. People were shocked. HA! The funniest point here is that when I mentioned Harry and Draco as lovers, one of the main speakers seemed quite interested in finding more about them. At that point we realized the kids were still there and postponed it after panel. lol! It seems that H/D is an acceptable couple even for canon fans. Well, that's it. At the end I got my Ravenclaw badge and left the panel with a huge smile on my face! *grins*
