Homosexual Video Games
So, in my daily perusing of webcomics, I decided to check on the oft disliked Penny Arcade. The strip, as most of you know, references J.T. attempting to sue a bunch of people. Yeah, yeah, nice and interesting. Well, in reading the Gamespot Article about it, I was made aware that he's suing Take Two in part because of the game Bully in which the male character, Jimmy, is able to kiss other male characters in the game. While I really don't think this is the "homosexual sex" that Jack claims it is, I was curious as to what other video games allow the player to pursue a homosexual relationship. I'm aware of the Barrett Cloud date in FF7, but beyond that I can think of no video game that has similar options. FFXI doesn't allow same-sex marriage (though they do have a marriage system in the game), and games that allegedly offer a variety of choice, such as NWN, will not allow same-sex coupling but will heterosexual in the OC campaigns. I'm not sure about Morrowind, as I don't follow that series. So I ask you, my readers, are you aware of other games that actually permit the pursuit of some same-sex relationship, even if just a kiss? (Also, I'm sorry for any poor typing or grammatical mistakes. My monitor hasn't worked for half the post since the power flickered, so I'm typing everything from memory with no visual feedback. Now let's just hope I can figure out how to post it!)
