There had been a sliver of compunction in his eyes as he nodded to Aphrodite about desiring to accompany her on the visit that would be anything but a furlough late that evening. Was he pushing the limit this time? The conflict between his brother had been incremental for centuries, and it was a constant in his life, but now that Hebe was directly involved... Ares never was satisfied with veering his cataclysmic, meddling talents to mortals exclusively. He had a fixation about beleaguering quite a few of those who sat high on Olympus. Why stop now, right? Why have favourites?
