After a really fucking crazy weekend involving horse collicks, awkward dinners, parties until 6am, soccer, and new expereinces, I was exhausted last night, so, celebrating not having to go to work today, I slept until noon.
when I woke up I at the last of the macaroni we brought home from the restaurant on Saturday night before making a salad of bacon, extra-sharp cheddar and avocado. It was definitely delicious, but the flavors didn't really sinc up that well. i was glad i added salt to the avocado to bring out the taste. the cheddar was surprising good (Cabot was the brand). Also a Dr. Pepper.
After i went to the gym I had a cold glass of milk with dark chocolate Hershey's syrup. Heavenly.
While i was helping my mom make dinner I had another Dr. Pepper because my body expects things of me.
For dinner, my mother and I braved a meal on the grill, guessing the mysteries my father usually performs (he was away listening to Howard Dean speak). We made boneless ribs and potatoes and carrots. the ribs were a little overcooked, but the rest was delicious. I cut red potatoes into sixths and sliced the carrots into strips and put them in a plastic bag with too much olive oil (based on earlier models of this dish) salt, garlic powder and cajun seasoning. We put them in an aluminum foil house and put them on the grill. my mom said it was the best carrots she's ever had. I really liked the potatoes. Next time we agreed to do some vidalia onions, too. Might have something else before I go to bed, maybe the last avocado or a salad or something ridiculously unhealthy. See what happens...
