I do love IWRY ficathon. It's great, isn't it? A chance to write something new, and to read all the other wonderful tales being presented. I have to wait till the afternoon for the new story to be up, but it is worth the wait.

Well done on the first time. You're doing so well for a newbie. I was having kittens the first time I wrote a story for IWRY. I think I stressed over it for weeks.

I enjoyed this so much! Loved that they were set up to kill each other, but of course instead, it led to the two of them reconnecting. I somehow doubt their enemies realized the bond between them or they would have realized this was a ploy that wouldn't work.

And I enjoyed reading about the Mummers - I always like seeing them in a parade!

Are you another person I could have asked about Philly and the Mummers? Sigh...

In my mind the mob family did not know that Angel and the slayer were once lovers. All they could see was a way to rid themselves of two problems. The slayer *and* the vampire PI who was interferring with business.
