A lovely little story, Ares, of a daydreaming (or is that nightdreaming?) Angel. I love him imagining the pink dress on Buffy.

Angel notices the things Buffy wears. I remember him telling her that her dress was pretty right after she killed the Master. And I loved the pink dress she wore at the Prom.

Yes, you're right, I (we) appear to be producing a new sub-genre. His attire was always mentioned in AtS for comedic value, and, I certainly was always ogling what the vamp had on...or off. :0)
Angel's clothes never got much of a mention in Buffy and I think I am trying to make up for it.

LOve the little details of Angel's existence - hitting up Willies, window shopping, daydreaming. And I like just how he came to acquire that leather jacket - he's not above petty theft.

Angel admitted once that he wasn't above stealing. That's another thing I like about the vamp. He isn't holier-than-thou about such petty concerns.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

I have often wondered what went on with Angel between seeing her in LA and when he met her in Sunnydale. This is very realistic - he knows about Willies and he is trying to get clothes!

I can't see Angel staying indoors most nights, can you? He'd have to be out on the prowl. And the first time we see Angel at Willies the man calls him by name.
