i am getting better at being honest, because today, i truly am happy. this doesn't mean i don't have any regrets, because i have too many for someone my age. and this doesn't mean i am some completely different person, who you wouldn't recognize if you were to see me driving down the street, because i am pretty much the same. just. different. because i finally know exactly what i want. and i've never felt more grown up or independent or determined that i will make it through all that life has to throw at me.
it's not the years in your life that count. it's the life in your years!
