rumor has it that if you vote tomorrow, starbucks will reward you with a free tall brewed coffee. =] i'm looking forward to this election being over, but at the same time, i geniunely do appreciate the fact that i am a young adult in this country with the right to vote on things that matter to the nation. i believe in political efficacy. lately, life has been busy but wonderful, and i kind of can't seem to get summer's playlist out of my head, even though i've been begging for the cold. i cannot believe it's november!

for four months, dust and i went to see the nightmare before christmas... in 3D!!!

there was this goat fight. no joke.
next, my family hit up malibu.
i threw up at gladstones from either eating too much clam chowder... or because my mom ordered me a margarita... or both? ugh, it was horrible. who gets sick at gladstones?!
so after that incident, we all relaxed on the beach for a little while. josh kept putting peanuts on my back and seagulls were eating them. i'm lucky i didn't catch anything.
just hanging out.
i was so excited to give him his gifts.
there was this one bird that continued shrieking and shrieking like a broken record player, over and over, nonstop. we felt so bad.
josh turned fourteen!
i hope he is smarter than i was at that age. =s

he is a good kid though.<3

fortunately, i went shopping for him with my mom. or who knows what she would've bought the kid.

dusty and i carved a pumpkin the night before halloween. it even got to sit and be scary in my brother's haunted house that he made with his friends.

after halloween on friday, saturday we decided to take a spontaneous trip to big bear. where insane things happened like driving up the mountain through a huge cloud of fog, the security system beeping and waking us up to the darkest night i've ever experienced because all the power was out... and good things happened too like eating smores and clearly, i got strapped onto a snowboard in preparation for this upcoming season!!
on the carpet of the living room is where i practiced my first beginning heel-toe maneuvers and before we left, i bought the cutest hat ever to wear. and some gloves and socks.
and i will probably be really pissed if i have to buy any other shit, haha. the next time we go to big bear, i'm pretty sure it will be to go snowboarding so i am excited.
the rest of these pictures will look better because they were taken with a pretty impressive camera.
