Scott Pilgrim vs the World is a movie based on a comic (which in turn was inspired by a song).
The comic has a lot more material than the movie, including a backstory about Scott meeting and dating Kim Pine in high school. That part of the backstory exists as an animation (sweet!) which is faithful to the book.
