I love this! Lyle’s such a strangely lovable character for just being in the background all the time and it’s great to read what he thinks of his messed up family life, that he’s annoyed at his sister, angry at his father and protective of his mother. I really like the way you’ve gotten his voice going all the way through it so it does read like a teenage boy’s thoughts. And I particularly adore the hints that he does take after his father a little with the secret files, martial arts and training with a gun.

And love the dream with Mr Muggles as Grand Emperor of the World. Great fic!

it was actually pretty fun writing from the perspective of a snarky teenage boy.
and I think that one of the best parts about Lyle is that he is most definitely a Bennet, with all that entails.

oh, and that Mr. Muggles dream was my favorite. Mr. Muggles will be the grand emperor of the world.

This fic is fantastic! I clicked through because it's Lyle fic and I was expecting crack, but it's far more emotionally resonant and interesting and so good. You've taken a tertiary character and fleshed him out into someone human, sympathetic, and lovable. +mem

I've always thought that Lyle was one of the neatest characters, and has one of the best positions in the series to make relevant internal commentary. honestly, I'll be surprised if he doesn't end up as some kind of supervillian or massive robin hood against the Company.

Here from mugglesandlyle and holy crap did I love this! Not that Lyle's in... well, much of anything, fic or show, but this made me feel for him. Poor kid. This is wonderful.

This is so good. I don't know why but I've always cared for this character. It's a mystery why he doesn't get much screentime. This is both emotional and funny and you don't really see that in a lot of fics. Great work!
