I sent my first resume for a "real job" yesterday. I'm not really expecting to get a call, but it was good practice --forced me to have a current resume-- and it was kinda fun too :)

stamps are 39 cents now, who's bright idea was that? i guess it's always going to be about that extra penny. 37 was better, at least then it was more like spare change.

i found a place to live. yay. the room isn't much better, but the rent sure is! my dad(s) have been really supportive, both financially and mentally which is really helpful. sometimes you just need a bit of a boost.

i'm excited for summer.... hell, i'm excited for weather warmer than 45.

i'm in love with turkey hill ice cream, or should i say frozen yogurt :) esp. when it's always on sale at wegmen's hehe

i spontaneously went to see the b/f the other day and we had a great time! dinner, presents, good convo. - could a girl ask for more? it's nice not to need a reason to see someone, other than you just want to. speaking of which, when i head down this weekend i'll get to see ma gurl - it's been a while - and hopefully some other peeps from last yr.

things have been good. a little routine, but there's some comfort in that...at least bad events aren't happening and i'm not freaking/stressing about anyone thing.

i read a quote yesterday. i was in this little funk, thinking how everything was the same and wondering when i was going to make some progress toward my goal(s). it was a little inspirational so:

Follow your heart wherever it takes you, and be happy. Life is brief and very
fragile, and only loaned to us for awhile. Wake up every morning with the
thought that something wonderful is about to happen. Falvia Weedn
