Happy New Year!

Hey all! So, it's a new page look for a new year. Comments??

Now that school is out life is pretty frickin' great. Still the normal "how am i going to pay for that!? " b-s, but it's SO nice just going to work, reading, being crafty, and the like without people breathing down my neck. Yay break!

Hmm...the holidays are going well. Went out last night to a friend's house for New Years. I was down in the Binghamton area with the boy. It was really nice. Rang in the year with grapes and champagne, which followed a few hours of various other treats. Overall a fun time, just wish I hadn't had to work today. I was definitely tired
Christmas was tops, although it didn't really feel like Christmas this year for whatever reason. Some of my family are going through some rough life spots and it's the type of thing where it will only change or get better, presumably both, if they make the move. No one can do it for them, or smooth out the relationships except for them. Needless to say it can be sad, hard, and frustrating to have to sit by and watch, waiting for th result.

This year was different too because my dad and stepdad had all the family over at once. I thought it would be really strange, but it was actually quite fun. Christmas at Mom's was cool too. We all had dinner together with Grandpa and then opened gifts. Of course church and whatnot had been earilier in the morning so the normal schedule was a bit skewed, even so. The next day we had the normal breakfast thing at Leah's. She's six months along, but hardly looks it! i'm not sure that the 'mom and dad" titles have sunk in for her or Rob yet, but first thing's first-being pregnant for the 1st time! I'm really excited for them :)
Breakfast went well, but I got sick early that morning before we went over (all the nastinessa porcelain throne can offer a gal). I was feeling better by the time we left, but was more than ready to leave by the time we were doing gifts. Oh well, thankfully it was a 24hr. thing, and when I got home I just laid around and slept the rest of it away.

This year, the New Year, really does feel new to me. I'm starting quite a few different things, and issues in my life are fairly well aligned--at least to the point where I feel confident-- so I'm excited to see what happens!

It's hard to believe the holidays are over. Just my birthday left, and my year is complete! haha Well, the boy is comin gup for the b-day and some family will be coming out on friday quick too. A little different with work and an internship in the mix--welcome to adulthood?? [NEVER!] <-- at least not the typical kind, I couldn't hack that boring mess full-time. In any case, I will be the BIG 23 ok, so it's not that old, and I'm GLAD! :-p

K, I'm out -- oh yeh, I got an iPod from the Love for christmas, it's the video one, 30 gig, etc. Anyone out there have any pointers, tips, hints, comments, or otherwise for a beginner? So far I've got a couple hundred songs on it. I already have questions though so throw me a line children of the iPOD! And for the curious, I received other wondrous gifts as well, they simply aren't quite as interactive as this new techie toy ;)
