Mercy not served here
I always have a bit of pride in releasing a truck. Moreso with this one because I made damn near everything on it. Only damn near because the body is a BigDoGGe mod of a Rep Fan body, but the frame, shocks, tires, axles, engine, gastank, radiator, transfer case...that's mine. Nothing terribly complicated, but I still feel like I accomplished something. I guess it's juvenile that I find satisfaction in a computer game, but I take my successes where I can get them.
Stafford is next weekend...finally! No one is around or free so it looks like I'll be heading down there solo then meeting up with some Mayhem folks (although the invitation is out there for anyone who wants to come). Doesn't matter to me, I'm still going, and I know it's gonna be a good show. Randy Brown is driving Digger, and I know from seeing him drive previously, that he is perfectly capable of driving hard enough to destroy equipment. Shame Anderson got hurt, though. He owes me a 60 second freestyle without flipping.
No work tomorrow! Gonna get some sleep so I can go out this weekend and buy my dad's birthday gift. I know exactly what to get him.
