whenever i tell anyone about cars hitting things, i always say it in the wrong order, so let me start out by saying no one or thing was hurt or broken in anyway.
that being said, today i got into my first car crash. Actually no, it was more like the guy behind me got too close to my car, and had the misfortune of crashing into me.
so i was gonna murge on route nine coming home from school. my mom was in the car with me because she was going toi show me how to pump gas...a very useful skill. So, i was going to merge, and i creeped foward, and saw there was a space in traffic, but just as i was about to go, the car in the back of the space sped up, so that I couldnt go anymore.,
so i stopped, and about 2 seconds later, there is a big bang, and my car is pushed foward a foot.
i screamed "ow" out of reflex, even though i wasnt hurt, and my mom thought i was dead. luckily i was not, so i just put the car in to park and my mom got the person's info and stuff.
the car isnt hurt at all...that's what happens when the car's bumber is half of the car itself, and the accident wasnt my fault since i got rear ended.
but i suppose it's a land mark in my life that it's my first accident, and the thing im thankful for is that im alright (knowing how prone to injury i am, that's actually quite suprising) and that the accident wasnt my fault.
