Here are all the things I have done instead of grade papers today:
- Practiced my banjo for an hour.
- Watched an episode of the Simpsons.
- Eaten. Lots of meals. More than usual.
- Wiped down the bathroom sink.
- Finished The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman (started just yesterday - thanks, Margot!)
- Looked up vegetarian recipes
- Looked at futons online
- Searched craigslist for futons online
- Scrubbed down a pitcher that was put away wet and had little mold spots
- Checked facebook. Lots of facebook. More than usual.
- Read my cousin's blog.
- Found banjo tabs and practiced more banjo.
- Replied to everyone's facebook status that I have talked to within the past month. Basically.
- Made my own status update.
- Read, revised, and copyedited a Doctor Letter that Dad emailed me
- Packed two boxes for our move on Saturday
- Scheduled an orthodontist appointment
- Washed my hair again.
- Contemplated making cookies for my class's final tomorrow.
- Wrote out a grocery list.
- Teased my husband.
- Made a livejournal post.
How many papers left to go?
12.
Out of 16.
I do actually have 19 students - 3 of which I have benevolently allowed to turn their papers in later than the deadline due to unconquerable emergencies.
If I weren't such a Principled Grader, I'd be done with these in minutes.
Be appreciative, studentia.
*Edit* Come to think of it, I should have Paper Grading looming over my head more often. I didn't realize how much I've actually accomplished today.
