Watching anything online (Hulu, show sites, wherever) always means watching the same commercial over and over again, but today I do not mind! Tide has a new commerical that Project Runway really, really wants me to see starring a parent talking about how their fairy princess daughter (a little girl wearing what is clearly a Rapunzel dress and fairy wings) gets stains all over her dress but still wears it for a week straight, so they have to use super-special Tide to get the stains out. The kicker? Said parent is a dad. And there's nothing, not one hint of "I'm a clueless man who can't do laundry" or "I wish my wife/a woman were here" or anything. He might be single, he might just be a stay at home dad. It doesn't matter to the commercial. And he's happy to play with his little girl while he waits for the laundry and she switches to a sherrif costume.

This shouldn't be so groundbreaking and awesome in freakin' 2013, but I'm still thrilled. If you're interested in further reading, I just found an article saying all the stuff I just did.
