Since finishing Dragon Age, it seems like all I do lately is read. Manga, books, Wikipedia... This wouldn't be such a problem (after all, who doesn't want to encourage reading?), but the thing is, I'm even worse with books than I am with computer games. It's pretty rare that I'll stay up all night to play a game, but books? Last night, I started Heroes Adrift (third in that series I keep mentioning lately), finished it at four in the morning, and then concluded "Ah, well, maybe I'll just read the first chapter of the next book..." Yeah. You can guess where that ended up.*
Then tonight, having wrecked my sleep schedule yet again (thought honestly, I manage that every weekend), I go to read the latest Dengeki Daisy only to realize I don't quite remember what happened in the last chapter, so obviously the only solution is to just start again from chapter 1 and suffer through all that character development and comedy again.
::sigh:: My life, it continues to be hard.
* Dear authors of the world: I love romance in my novels, don't get me wrong, but when you leave the relationship on a cliffhanger - and by cliffhanger I mean really any state at all in which the leads haven't yet hashed out their feelings, which I realize covers a rather large amount ground - I am not going to get any sleep until I either get to said hashing out or I run out of book. Please have a care for your delicate reader.
