If you're looking for a way to procrastinate this evening, you could do worse then helping XCKD out with some kind of color survey. I'm not really sure what the data's gonna be for, but I was intrigued enough to name 47 colors or so anyway. Interesting self discovery: I'll apparently go out of my way to differentiate between different kinds of greens, but am willing to give quite a broad spectrum of colors the simple appellation of "pink."
Other recent discoveries made, this time in the context of the always-exciting world of doujin: in any given Hikaru no Go doujinshi, there is a better than even chance that Akira will end up in a yukata; it is possible for Naruto and Sasuke to argue during any activity you can think of, but in particular, yes, that one you're thinking of right now and it was hilarious; and Kingdom Hearts doujin are near-universally terrible with a single exception - Tidus is somehow accurately drawn and characterized in each one. I hope you feel educated.
