::sigh:: Possibly in a fit of remembrance of how much I enjoyed watching Kris Allen defy the judges' expectations week after week last year, I went ahead and downloaded the two Hollywood episodes of last week's American Idol. And wouldn't you know it, I still can't stand Kara. Like, I get a visceral reaction just from seeing her on the panel, and the second she opens her mouth... I guess I'll see if I survive the rest of the episode (I'm only ten minutes in - Kara didn't get to talk until then thanks to the vast quantity of recaps) before making a further commitment. Stupid addicting show. Why do you hurt me like this? If only I hadn't run out of Komatta Toki chapters to read.
...You know what? Maybe I'll start watching again when it's down to the top 12, but screw it. Hear that, Idol? I'm officially cutting of ties with you for at least a temporary period!
ETA: I can not decide if this Okama arc in One Piece is progressive or horribly offensive. Well, they're the good guys, so I guess it's progressive? Especially for a shonen manga? But oh, the stereotypes... Either way, though, that little dance routine was the most disturbing thing to happen in the show since Robin "persuaded" Franky to join the crew. ::shudder::
