Having a moderately good day. ^-^ Got back four points on my 170 midterm (making my new grade four points above the class average; yay!), and the professor said that if you screwed up in the first half of the quarter but then realized that maybe that was kinda a bad thing and showed improvement for the rest of the quarter, he'd take that into consideration for final grades. For me, that's usually a very, very good thing. He also knows my name, which, considering I only show up for class every other time, may or may not be good. But I'm gonna try and wake up on time for the most part from now on, so hopefully it'll become a moot (no Joey jokes) point.

Anyway. Received material goods in the mail yesterday. As almost all of you have heard, my FMA figures are here! And, best of all, I got the whole set! Plus an extra Ed and Al! Yay! For those of you who do not understand why this is so wonderful, these figures come in random boxes, all of which look the same. I ordered a big box which had eight little boxes; no guarantees that I wouldn't get stuck with eight Winrys or something. And I got the whole set. Plus an Ed and Al. Hee. They're all arranged around my desk to best display each one. Like, Roy's looking downward, so he has to be elevated, or else he looks sad instead of all kick-ass. And Ed's looking sideways, so if I put him below eye-level, all I can see is his hair. Hughes and Winry are both looking up, so they can go by the keyboard, and so on. Very complex. Did I mention I got the whole set? ^-^

My DVDs will get here November third, according to Amazon, so that'll be a nice celebration/consolation gift. It's really cool how when you pay for things online they eventually turn up in your mailbox, ne? It's like getting presents, except I had to pay for them. ^-^

I also just got a whole bunch of OSTs via Streamload, including the Orphen soundtrack and (drumroll) the Furuba Drama Album! Yes, Tohru sounds different and Momiji sounds like he's on crack, but it still has Seki, and who can argue with that? I love drama CDs. They're usually kinda low-budget and have hokey plotlines (Gravitation, I'm looking at you), but everyone just sounds like they're having so much fun that it's infectious. You can tell the actors really like not having to match up to the video, and listening to Kyou and Yuki just yelling "baka" at each other is somehow infinitely amusing. Plus, I found a translation! And booklet scans! Life is so much easier when I'm into popular shows. If Kyou Kara Maou just had an audience the size of FMA's... Dammit, where is my next episode? Stupid subbers. They seem to think they work for free and skirt the edges of legality just to provide us rabid fans with what we want out of the goodness of their hearts. Well, some part goodness, and also some part attentionwhore-ness. Because everyone wants to be liked on the internet.

Had my last midterm today, and likely did not miss enough questions to put my grade in any further jeopardy than turning in the very first project late did. Also, I have a feeling at least a few of the people who left class way early did so because they didn't know a lot of the answers. So that's good. In terms of a curve or whatever. Well, good for me. And, as this post makes most clear, me is what is most important.

Best of all, nothing is due tomorrow! No midterms! No projects! No work! Going to go to class (shock!) and then come right back home and go to sleep. I am so very looking forward to getting more than four hours' sleep.

Now, isn't everyone glad I shared? Join me next week, when I sink into depression and detail why and how the world is conspiring against me. And perhaps mention the new "anime club," who's message board is almost as much fun as Fandom Wank. Hee.
