So, I had decided that with Paula leaving and Kara becoming a permanent judge, next year would be a good time to stop watching Idol. So what do the producers do? Add Ellen DeGeneres, of all people, to the panel. Ellen. Let me tell you, that is really rather out of left field tempting. But I still hate Kara, and the judges will probably be just as all about themselves next season as they were this season, and even Ellen probably can't save that... Decisions, decisions.
