This essay has to be at the most three pages, double spaced. At the moment I've got two pages and three more paragraphs to go... But I don't want to cut anything out because it might be important.... maybe I'll give a small intro.
Here's a couple horrible attempts to being interesting with my writing:
"They urged her to marry someone right away. The choices included her sister’s widower Phillip (considering what happened with Catherine of Aragon, that was obviously not an option), Robert Dudley (who’s wife mysteriously fell down a flight of stairs and died), a Frenchman known as her “Frog,” and the radical Puritan Henry Hastings (defiantly not a good choice). "
"Parliament also encouraged her to choose a successor incase she were to die without children. The choices were limited. Her cousin Catherine Grey married Edward Seymour without permission, had a son, and both ended up in the metaphorical doghouse."
I don't know if this will help me or not. I think I'm just tired and that it's showing... but those lines seem amusing to me.
EDIT: Oh god I can't write the war section without seeing it all played out Hetalia!style...
