OH GOD MY HANDS ARE SHIVERING FROM COMPLETING THIS
it has been a long time since i painted something i like
i was really inspired by audrey kawasaki (you can see her beautiful work here: [link]) and tried out a different style. its still watercolor, but i mixed the lighter colors with white gouache so it'll be more opaque.
overall, i've been working since 6pm-6am with a dinner break yesterday and 1pm till 6pm now. it's so worth it

the chrysanthemums were the worst part. must've devoted at least 2 hours to them alone :/ i dont EVER want to touch/see/draw/paint another chrysanthemum for the rest of the week! tbh i was super scared of drawing them...
