Fresh Strawberry Muffins <3
Almost to pretty for the to eat ;o; i think my muffins are a little short cause of the paper cups i used.. but nvm cause short muffins are easier to eat! and they're supposed to be chilled :)
whipped the cream from scratch by hand ToT...i was very skeptical when i was looking at a bowl of whipping cream that was supposed to be stiff and cream like. thank god it it turned into cream!
only 5 muffins survived to be decorated cause my sis stole one ;o; i knew that putting it out to cool on the dining table was a bad idea!! strawberries and cream really taste good together <3 my cream was a little tasteless though. and my muffins taste really diabetic friendly even tho i didn't forget the sugar! maybe it was because i used brown sugar? not so sweet that way.
all in all, they were kind of expensive to make because of the strawberry and whipping cream but it was worth it! arghs i was supposed to try and bake chocolate chip muffins but sadly i'm going on a chocolate diet in a bid to stay healthy! or healthier at least....
crispy bacon muffins tomorrow!! eh wait im supposed to stay healthy...?
p/s: im beginning to suspect that i may live my life only baking muffins. they're easy and versatile! can't wait for valentines to make the valentine muffins in the book! can't make the xmas muffins cause i have no idea where to get good mincemeat in Melaka... maybe i should try making some?
