A Bit of Housekeeping
Well today has certainly been one of the most boring days I've had in awhile. I guess it didn't help that I was up until 6:30 this morning reading and then slept until 3:00. So hello to all my new friends out there who have added me from the friending meme or found me somehow. It's always surprises me when people actually friend me and say, "I've been reading your journal" or "I see your comments all the time" or something like that. It's like "People actually listen to me? Awesome..."
So hello to everyone! If you want to know more about me, you can read my recently updated Laura!Fail Intro Post with some random stuff about me, how I got into JE, and some other crap I can't be bothered to mention because I have a headache.
So anyway, I'm doing this post for housekeeping purposes. I've got stuff on my mind, and it needs to be sorted. So here we go!
BLOODY MONDAY: Bloody Monday is totally finished! I felt a great sense of completion when the last two episodes were released. It's all thanks to my awesome team. Although, I think there might be a Bloody Monday special coming up this year. The last episode left too much unfinished. Fujimaru's not done yet.
MUSIC VIDEOS: In my last post, I posted a Maou music video that I made. I discovered that I could actually make music videos on this computer and the quality wouldn't be so bad. Only thing is when I start working with five or more files, my comp realllly slows down. But still, I can do some things. So all of the ideas for music videos that I have will finally get put into action. And hey, maybe I'll get inspiration for my Video Editing class, too. Some videos you can look foward to:

MEMOIRS OF A TEENAGE AMNESIAC: Filming wrapped (did I mention this?), and Hans is still excited about everything. I want to meet him. He seems awesome. With all of the generated buzz, it's looking good that Memoirs will get a US premiere. Nothing is confirmed yet, but I've been thinking about the premiere. It looks like a lot of people will want to go, and I certainly plan on going. If anyone's going, would you guys like to do a meetup? I know it's soon because nothing's been planned, and they're just about to start editing the film which could take six months or so. But it's good to think ahead and start planning it. We could do a big meetup with going out to eat and doing stuff. Depending on where it premieres, but most likely it'll be somewhere like Los Angeles.
JAPANESE: I haven't done any Japanese work since I've been home. I tried to start chapter 7 in Genki, but my probable ADD kicked in, and I quickly lost interest. I've really got to learn katakana or at least start to. I know some of it, but not all. For Japanese II, we're going to start off learning katakana and reading simple folk tales. We'll be in the same classroom, so I wonder if we'll all end up sitting in the same place. I kind of want to switch it up and sit near Thomas and Jenn-chan. And that girl who's an Arashi fan might be there! It'll be cool to spout JE flail with someone every once in awhile. Anyway, I've got to plow through this Japanese. And really work on my kanji.
TOMAPI: Everyone's seen the Tomapi hug pictures by now. They're too wonderful for words. I love Toma's fedora in those pictures. He looks amazing and so incredibly cute. YAY FOR TOMAPI! Speaking of which, I need to get working on the third part of You Never Have to be Alone. And somehow make it less angsty. And somehow make it more interesting. (sigh...sorry, my head hurts)
THINGS I WANT TO DO WITH THIS BLOG:
1. Get an actual layout. With a really nice Toma pic. Or pics of mah favorite boys. Or dramas....oh boy, decisions.
2. Post pictures. I left my camera cord at school, so I can't start this until I go back.
3. Actually contribute stuff. More stuff, that is.
