The Competition - An Update For Anyone Who Missed It
Here's how the competition will be played:
Using any characters from the Smoke & Lightning 'verse, you can create a piece of fanfic or a piece of fanart, edit: (including vids!) which you can then send to either

RULES
* Fanfic entries must be no longer than 3000 words (but can also be as short as a drabble if you want!) and saved in either .doc or .txt format.
We are being bendy with this rule now. Up to 3500 words is okay if you just can't stop, but NOTHING over this limit.
* Fanart entries must be no larger than 800*600 pixels and saved in either .jpg, .png or .gif format.
* Fanvids are allowed - please provide a download link in your email!
Limited to two entries per person, and you can mix and match between media formats.
That's it for rules! Just head your email with the title of your entry, the rating of your entry, and whether it is fanfic or fanart. Attach your file and a short note if you wish, and send it on over.
THE NEW CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS JULY 10th. Sorry, we can't extend past this!
We'll create a poll with all the entries and entrants' names will be kept anonymous. The voting will also be kept anonymous. We'll give everyone a week to vote and then announce the results. (There won't be individual categories, as we've only had one entry so far and I'm not entirely sure we're going to get many more, to be honest!)
The top three entries from everything as voted by the community members (unless there are ONLY 3 entries, then we'll go with the top 1 ;P) will each win something. If people would like a real, solid prize, then they can send us their postal address afterwards. I do have an idea of something for that, but only if people are willing to share addresses. I won't use it for nefarious purposes and, once something has been sent, the address will be destroyed so nobody else will get a hold of it! But if you're not willing to do that, no problem. I have ideas for more..digital prizes as well. :)
The real solid prize will be 'verse themed and the winner will be the only person to receive something like it. :D
