TEXT MSG
A Ficlet

Jeffrey and Stevie were in love.

That also meant they were a little tough to take sometimes. Jensen was sure that he and Jared had never been that bad. They, at least, weren't desperate to be together all the time, or needing to touch constantly, or always whispering things to each other.

Okay, maybe they did do that. But, they'd been together long enough now that they didn't need to do silly, love-sick things with one another. Right? They didn't even need to be right next to each other all of the time like Jeff and Stevie did.

Even now, Jensen was up in the loft researching some of his homework, while Jared was down on the sofa, watching television. Biting at his bottom lip, Jensen peered though his reading glasses, barely glancing over the information scrolling along the webpage. He desperately wanted to stop, but he was almost done. Just one more page and he'd reach the minimal requirement on the report guidelines. Usually, he tried to do more than the minimum, but he found the Norman Conquest incredibly dry.

Interrupting his work, Jensen heard his phone beep at him, signaling that he'd received a text message. Immediately, he thought of Josh. His brother found it hard to talk to Jensen these days, feeling that his brother was being mostly selfish. For that reason, he mainly stuck to text messages. Sighing, Jensen reached for his phone. He smiled when he saw Jared's name on the ID.

WHAT R U DOIN?

Chuckling, he texted back, STILL WRKING.

A few seconds later, his phone beeped again. HURRY UP. BORED.

LEAVE ME ALONE THEN.

CANT. HOOKED ON U.

Jensen bit at his bottom lip, trying to hide his smile, even though his back was to Jared. FREAK, he texted back. He let his laughter escape him when he heard Jared cackle, still sprawled out on the sofa.

WANT U.

Jensen shook his head, still grinning. WHATS NEW?

KNOW WHAT?

"What?" he whispered as he typed back the word and sent it off to Jared's cell.

TELL U WHAT ILL DO LATER?

OK. Jensen leaned back in his chair, deciding that he wasn't readily going to get back to work. And quite honestly, he was okay with that. He was so damn tired of Norman and his fucking conquest.

STARTS WITH KISSING U.

Jensen couldn't remember a time in his life when he smiled so much, as when he was with Jared. If at all possible, his grin became even wider as he read the text message. He was about to ask what would happen after the kisses, but Jared was on a roll, and sent another message with amazing speed.

THEN TOUCHING.

This time, he got a chance to send something back. "Sounds. Like. A. Plan," he said softly and slowly as he typed out the words.

Jared chuckled just loud enough to be heard over the television. He thumbed the buttons on his cell and sent another message.

NEXT ILL LAY U DOWN.

Grinning, Jensen waited for another message, but none arrived. He typed back to Jared, biting gently at the tip of his tongue.

THEN WHAT?

Jared glanced up to the loft before he sent off his message. Smiling, he watched Jensen, whose back was still to him.

SUK U.

Instantly, Jensen's mouth went dry at the thought of Jared's mouth upon him, moving hard and fast, or torturously slow and easy. His heart beat a little faster, and the visions in his head gave his stomach a gentle pull. He swallowed and waited for another message, deciding he wasn't, at the moment, going to be able to form a coherent text.

Jared chuckled softly to himself, knowing just by how Jensen's shoulders tightened, what he was thinking about.

USE MY FINGERS AND MOUTH TO MAKE U CUM, he sent back, a devilish glitter in his eye.

Jensen reached up and brushed his hand over his mouth. He wished he knew how Jared could affect him so quickly, what exactly it was that drove him so wild. He could name off a number of things, but he had the feeling that he wouldn't even scratch the surface by doing such a thing. His mind was racing, imagining himself sprawled out on the bed, heels dug into the mattress as he looked down at Jared's mouth working him into a frenzy. He could already feel the man's touch, slick fingers sliding deep inside him to brush up against the one spot that made him lose control in a heartbeat. He could feel a flash of heat skip across his forehead and reached up to find dampness along his hairline. Jared wasn't even within ten feet of him and already he was sweating.

Jared watched Jensen from his place on the sofa. He thought he could see young man's shoulders rising and falling faster than they had before, but chalked it up to his hopeful imagination. He touched the antennae to his phone up against his teeth as he eyed Jensen, figuring that the man was trying to work up his courage to send back a few dirty words. After a few more seconds, his phone beeped at him. He looked down at it and hunted down the new text message.

GIVE U TEN SEC HEAD START.

He smiled and sent back, TO WHERE?

BED, DOOFUS.

His soft grin turned into a bright and happy smile as his head rocked back and a raucous laughter escaped him. He saw Jensen turn around to look at him, wearing a smile of his own, along with one raised eyebrow. Jared turned off his phone and tossed it over his shoulder. He got up, leaping over the sofa and headed for the ladder.

Jensen didn't give him the head start that he'd promised. Instead, he quickly saved his work and set the computer to shutdown. Moving over to the bed, he jumped atop it and peeled off his T-shirt. He stood there, watching Jared haul himself up to the second level. Smiling, he tossed his T-shirt at Jared when the man got close enough.

Jared caught it and dropped it to the floor beside the bed. "Cheater," he said, reaching up to tug at the button on Jensen's jeans.

Jensen chuckled as he watched him, inching his hips forward just slightly as Jared pulled the jeans open. "Guess you'll have to teach me a lesson," he offered.

Jared returned the laughter and nodded his head. "I've got a few things in mind," he returned.

Jensen's smiled faded, and his eyes drifted closed as Jared leaned in closer to him.
