Hi there, LJ-land.
I've just spotted one of bloody_adorable's manips being used for a story banner for someone else's story with no mention of her contribution at all. (I have sent a message to the person using it already.)
While we don't mind people using most of the artwork we post here, we find it... Well, POLITE if people could ask us first. And if you're not going to ask, at least tell people who made what you're using. We do put a fair bit of time and effort into everything we post on here, after all.
I know the original pics are something we have no hold over (I've seen this argument so many times to know this post is probably largely pointless), but surely the time taken to produce something counts?
Anyway. I don't want to stir up arguments about blah blah all you did was paste some pictures onto some pic of some other naked dude... I know that. :P

Ah, not to worry. I had a reply from the author who told me somebody else sent her the picture because they thought it would fit (and apparently it does). It is, however, no longer an issue as the author has made another banner for their fic and is now using that one. (And it looks just as good, anyway!)
But please...We really don't mind you using anything we post here (well, duh, except the fic itself, obviously, LOL), just..let us know? :D
New chapter up soon! I've been at work most of the day (I freakin' hate working Sundays. I signed on for this new job BECAUSE I wouldn't have to do weekends! (Well, and also for the payrise). What's that all about, huh? FFS.)
