Today was slightly surreal.

- Masses of red-coat-wearing Chinese (?) people in the store. Mostly young women. Maybe some sort of performance troupe?
- A protest march down State Street, featuring two homemade floats, about 20 people, and a single maraca. It was comically sad-looking.
- Another march that could have been a protest or an art project or both, featuring a dozen tall-masked grieving figures, some holding "infants." They stopped outside our store to wail for a while.
