Doom Classic is out on the iPhone.
There are a number of reasons that I get excited when id releases something; one of the reasons lately is that I get to sift through their iPhone code. As with the
Wolf 3D source release, id has graciously released the
source code to their iPhone port of
Doom.

I have
mirrored the initial version's (and
