Well, I haven't posted to LJ in more than a year. I just got a message purportedly from LJ saying they're purging idle accounts, so I guess I'll write a few things down.
I don't tend to journal at all anymore, mostly because life is bor.. qui.. relaxe.. mostly revolved around regular employment. (I actually earn a living these days, gasp!) I don't know
I work from home, so while I do get cabin fever occasionally during the week, I really, really love the commute. :) And while my coworkers rock enough that I wouldn't actually *mind* going in to the office every day, I A. am the only one on duty for the majority of my shift, and B. My commute to the main office would be 10 hours each way, and cost enough that I'd blow through my paycheck in four days doing so. :)
I'm trying for NaNoWriMo again, though I've fallen pretty far behind. I'm not worried about whether I'll actually finish or not- that way lies madness. I'm writing something I swore up and down I never would... Fan fiction. :| I find it very easy to produce right now, and I'm hoping that if I write enough words that I'll get over the block I've got on writing original works again.
The only other news of note is that I'm elligible to apply for US citizenship now. Just as soon as I can scrape together $650 for the application, I'll be doing that.
Other than that, life is great.
I do hope that they don't try to purge memorial accounts. I think I'll be doing some shouting if that happens.
