I LOVE my Kindle. Yes, yes I do. And bonus, there's a thing you can follow on Facebook (if you're on there) where they tell you when the free books or 99c books are available. Free books?! YES!

YES! I follow that! I'm a fan of somewhat odd books, but if you need something highly entertaining to read over Christmas I suggest Letters of a woman homesteader by Elinore Pruitt Stewart. It cost exactly zero dollars, I kid you not, and it provided me with hours of entertainment. It's letters written by a woman who obviously loved life, no matter the things life threw at her. She seemed perpetually excited about everything, which in turn made me excited about the things she was excited about. :)

Ugh, I have such a huge to read list, all thanks to that one thing on FB. Plus I have a few books on children's mental development AND I'm attempting Twilight in the hopes of writing a nearly line by line snark of it.

But I will snag that and keep it around, it sounds interesting!

Line by line Twilight snark? That sounds like a great plan! Make sure you have some way of getting yourself out of the rather large (yet predictable) plot holes. :p
