music post from myspace
the music contest is called nova idol 2007. yeah, i know. i'm a semi-finalist. i have 2 minutes to sufficiently impress three judges so they'll let me into the finals while at the same time making a convincing argument to the audience that i deserve to win, so they don't consider me a placeholder in the final round of 15. so here's my problem. i need a song for the semi-s. i'm pretty sure i'll be singing "She" by elvis costello in the finals, but for the semi-s i need one that meets the following criteria:

2 minute time limit, so the song must be 2 minutes, or cut-able down to 2 minutes.
must be musical enough to impress the judges, but engaging enough to arouse(stop it) the interest of the audience
-----These are fungible:-----
should be in english
should not be a showtune
should probably not be anything josh groban recorded, since i used one such a song for my first audition. so. HELP!!!
