Why is it I like to travel?

Sunday night I went to sleep EARLY, knowing I had to get up at 4:00am to get to the airport by 6:00. At 9:30, the client for whom I was doing the travelling called and woke me up. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!! *snarl**hiss**spit* Even though I ignored the phone, I was up until 2:00am . . . couldn't get back to sleep *sigh*

I slept in 'til 4:30am -- gotta have that extra 30 minutes! I made it to the airport on time, flew from Houston to Dallas and worked in the Dallas office of the Houston client for 3 hours, then flew to Austin and worked in the Austin office for the afternoon. We (I was with someone from the Houston office) were supposed to fly out of Austin at 5:45pm, but we had connection issues and didn't leave until the 7:25pm flight. I got 'home' (for those of you who haven't seen that, translate as hotel) at 8:30pm. Really 9:30pm 'cuz I drove around a bit looking for something amusing for dinner (found a Long John Silver's, something I don't get in Seattle).

For those of you keeping track, that's a 15-hour work day. And I could even really sleep on the planes...the flight's were short and I was with the client. *sigh* And we were on SouthWest, and I got frisked at all three airports :( Mofo's...

Ok, back to being perky for a training class although I'm tired and achey and just want to curl up and SLEEP!
