2009 - a moment to reflect
I've done this the last couple of years, so let's keep up with the tradition! First sentence of the first "real" post for every month of the year (meme's and quizzes don't count!)
So, A year in review...
January: The holidays are over, no more being forced into social situations due to obligation, now it's time to be selfish and focus on me... I'm done putting up a facade, smiling and nodding when people disrespect me and treat me like shit.
February: So Valentine's Day was kinda awesome this year.
March: I don't want to work, so I shall post...
April: Well things have been pretty busy lately... with the 5-month mark here and gone again, and a birthday to celebrate, I really havent had time to just stop... being sick this past week kinda didnt help much either.
May: I was in wedding mode last night, going through my planners and whatnot, and I have my hair and make-up trial tomorrow, so I figure I would go over what I have to do still and whats on the agenda:
June: And here I was just thinking, "Man, it's been a while since we last had a movie night..."
July: (no posts)
August: (no posts)
September: Welp, two weeks from tomorrow, and I'm going to be a Mrs.
October: LiveJournal is becoming such a dead medium.
November: How did we get here, how the hell...
December: We'll see how fast it really is... starting to do the one shake at breakfast, one shake at lunch, and a sensible dinner thing today... we'll see how long that lasts.
I'm not going to do my Resolutions post until after the New Year, but I will say for now that I promise to make sure I have at least one meaningful post per month next year... 2 whole months without any entries... thats horrible!
