The Videogames Industry and How They are Dumb

Damnit, I want spore really bad. It comes out on September 07. The problem is, I also want Too Human (August 19), Final Fantasy IV DS (September), Warhammer Online (September 23), Fable 2 (sometime this fall), Fallout 3 (October), and Wrath of the Lich King (also sometime this fall).
It really annoys me that July is such a dead spot for games, and September is just overflowing with games. Do they think people won't buy games in July? Do they think that releasing everything awesome at once will improve business? I mean, even for games that aren't in direct competition, you'd still think they'd keep an eye on it. It's just annoying is all.
