Holy Crap, that was a long drive...
It's a LONG drive to and from North Carolina. In one day, I briefly visited not only the National Capitol, but the State Capitols of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, AND North Carolina. Not bad for an 8 hour drive. I got back to the dorm at 2:30 this morning. I was dragging. But it was a trip to North Carolina that was well worth it. Not only did I get to visit with Jim, I got to meet and hang out with a bunch of his friends, I got to see his on-base housing. I had the opportunity to experience Fayetteville and true city driving. We ate out at new, different restaurants, and we also cooked back in Jim's dorm. We went to the beach and the outlets (where I completed my dishware collection). It was four days well spent. However, needless to say, I didn't get much work completed for my classes...Oh Well, I guess that you'll have this.
