GOOD. IT GIVES ME SOMETHING TO READ WHEN I GET HOME FROM WORK. XD

France is amazingly perceptive when it comes to relationships. Scarily so. And right after that he'll go take advantage of Port's vunerable state the same way he did with America when he was rebelling against England. I'M BEGINNING TO SEE A PATTERN HERE.

Saaaaaame, oh god. Or just wish it would write itself. Endings always look so much better in my head, orz. And it just so happened he was good at it so he got high on it. It was an alternative to all that opium he stole from China. XD

hahaha well I'm going to be doing a lot of pushing. ;D I see so much fanworks for OCs like the Phillipines and Brazil, so why not Portugal? ESPECIALLY PORTUGAL.

See, he can take Portugal to Shakespearan plays and know he'll appreciate it in that utterly romantic way, but he can't really take America because he'd complain loudly and make fun of it (even though he secretly likes it). And then he takes them both and it's disastrous. XD fff they all know its there anyway. lol yes, he thinks to himself in poetry and purple prose, trufax. Why do you think he had so many Romantic poets? I LOVED IT, IT WAS ADORABLE. YES. And he gave him flowers and made up excuses about wanting to talk about military tactics and Portugal's thinking 's-so awkwardly adorable', only Spain comes out and dumps a bucket of water on him. Because no Englishman is going to be courting his brother while he's around. >:| OhgodIkindofwantyoutowritethatnowtooaaaah. DO IT. /ENABLES

That's amore~ Forget that it's Italian, I want to see Spain singing that. THEY'D BE A PUPPY-PILE OF WIN. <3

I WILL WORK ON PRODUCING SUCH A WALL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Oh, yes, he definitely is. And it is scary. Especially considering his tendency to do exactly that. HE JUST POACHES OFF OF ENGLAND'S EMOTIONAL MISTAKES, DOESN'T HE? Oh, god, though, that sentence made me feel so protective of Portugal. Poor, poor Port.

Oh, yes, definitely. Aaaah, mine too! I look at them on the page and think . . . so cheesy fdkfljdlakl, and then just cry, because I'm so close but I HAVE TO MAKE THE ENDING GOOD somehow. :( It's really true. Or the opium he pushed on China. England . . . why are you so special sometimes . . . .

ESPECIALLY PORTUGAL INDEED. Okay. I'm on it. Seriously.

Yeah! It's completely true. Disastrous indeed. But in a good way. But they do all know. HE DOES. Oh, England, you repressed romantic. I'M TOTALLY INTO THIS IDEA NOW AND THANK YOU! Oh, my god. Flowers. Excuses. YES, yes, he did. Portugal's totally reconsidering his opinion of England right there because of the ridiculous adorable, and I bet he was not happy at all about Spain's preventative measures. Ummummumm. AAAAH OKAY.

Lol. Just through Romano in, too, for your added Italian needs. YES, YES THEY WOULD. XD

I LOOK FORWARD TO IT.

The country of love has to be able to find amour~ wherever he goes. 'Come now Portugal, let your big brother comfort you. I never did like that husband of yours~' 'We're the same age, França. You know this. And there is nothing comforting about your hand on my arse.' 'Not yet, mon amour~' YOU KNOW FRANCE. FISHING IN TROUBLED WATERS IS HIS SPECIALTY. Oh Portugal. ;;

S-Sometimes a cheesy ending is good though. It depends on the story but aaaah it's so hard to tell sometimes. D: The ending is what MAKES the story. Otherwise it's just a wall of text. Unfortunately. ;; hahaha 'special'. That's one way of putting it. Oh England.

This will be epic. I can tell.

Disastrous as in England's trying to enjoy the masterpieces he helped create while America is whispering loudly about what the hell is going on and Portugal explains it to him, while adding which bits were inspired by England in his drunken states. XD YOU'RE TOTALLY WELCOME, IT MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE AWESOME WHEN YOU TALK IT OUT. Awkwardly hand-picked bouquets and stammering tsundere excuses. IT'D BE SO AMAZING. And Portugal's just sitting there completely flattered and England is growing on him until Spain arrives to ruin the mood. Honestly. You'd think HE was the older brother. THIS ENABLING THING IS AWESOME.

Ahahaha yes Romano. Serenade them with Bella Notte from Disney's Lady and the Tramp. XDDD

ALL RIGHTY THEN.

He certainly thinks of it that way XD. Oh, god, I can just see it. "Not yet~" *leer* And then Portugal would be all . . . why the hell not? *bitter* I THINK JUST FISHING IS HIS SPECIALTY. ANYWHERE HE CAN DROP A LINE. *shot for this pun*

It's true! But . . . yeah, it's really really hard to tell. It is, and that's what's so nerve-wracking about them. It certainly is. Oh, oh, England.

I--I hope so . . . *nervous*

Oh, yes. And America's opinion of England changing all the while XD, lol. IT REALLY DOES, DOESN'T IT? I'M SO EXCITED NOW. Yes, because England didn't really think it through at all; he just went . . . I need to go see Portugal, and picked the flowers on the way, and . . . Portugal's all . . . aww. Not only did he seriously save me, but he's adorable and he's into me and man . . . maybe he's not the silly kid I thought--well, he is silly, but--and god, Spain, yeah, you would! Oh, Spain. YES, YES IT IS. I'M PRETTY FOND OF IT MYSELF.

Lol. The mental images. Ahahaha. Oh, Romano. Just. Lol.

Spain calls himself the country of passion, France says he's the country of love, so what does that make Portugal? XD Yessss oh god, I can see him just letting France coax him into bed. Because you know, just before his 1910 Revolution, he was apparently inspired by France's Third Republic and wanted a similar regime. |D HAHAHA OH GOD, THERE ARE SO MANY FISH IN THE SEA FRANCE-NIICHAN.

It makes me wonder if England has the right to be devastated with Port for sleeping with France, god knows he's done it enough himself. Though of course, the circumstances were entirely different. XD;

'Dude, dude England, man, I had no idea you were such a - ' 'Oh shut up, America. Port, stop filling his head with nonsense.' XD SO AM I AAAAH, WHY IS IT SO AMAZING. Didn't even know why he wanted to see him, just that he did, and he brought flowers and the old copper engagement, I mean alliance, ring that Port still wears to this day. X) Awww yes Port, he's silly, but in the utterly sweet way that he could probably get used to. SPAIN ILU. NEVER STOP HAVING A BROTHER COMPLEX. It's like brainstorming ONLY BETTER.

...I can so envision him singing like Pavarotti for some absurd reason. It's both hilarious and amazing. And America totally asked him over to his house while they were making that movie so they could record a REAL Italian singing that song. XD

The country of damn hot sex and pretty smiles? XD Man, I can see it, too. And so different from England, which might have been a comfort, around then. Those revolutionaries. Always a tough time in a country's life--I feel like they tend to be all over the place, emotionally, when they start in on that. AND HE'S A MASTER FISHERMAN.

He would be devastated, though, he's so emotionally . . . needy, under all the tsun. It's not fair at all, and I really don't think he has the right (though the circumstances were different), but I think he'd feel that way nonetheless.

Ahahahaha, yes, EXACTLY. And it JUST IS. He was so embarrassed, and Port was so touched despite himself, because England was actually trying to court, despite his embarrassment and touchy, bristly exterior and emotional fail. OH GOD, SPAIN. I'm imagining Portugal is NOT thrilled with him though. WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER HERE INTERRUPTING MY PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS. Oh, poor Inglaterra--did you have to pour water on his head? GET OUT SPAIN I WILL SPEAK WITH INGLATERRA IN PEACE OR WILL I HAVE TO SEND YOU RUNNING BACK TO CASTILE ALL OVER AGAIN. Yes, yes it is. :D :D :D

Oh, my god! That's hilarious. Now I can, too. Ahahahaha. YES. And Romano was all . . . . ???? fkjafjkla. Such a fucking idiot. *comes anyway*

THAT ICON IS AMAZING, BTW!

Ahahaha yes. Exactly. Damn hot sex and pretty smiles. XD HE TOPS IN ALL CATEGORIES. France is so good at comforting when it means he's going to get laid. |D But France has known the Iberian brothers for a hell of a long time so I assume Portugal wouldn't mind too terribly if he was being sympathetic. XD Portugal would be so torn aaah. He loves his monarchy but his current king just pulled the rug out from under his feet and I don't think Port was very happy with him. I see his revolution as a mental breakdown. ;; HE SHOULD GET AN AWARD.

Then he probably should have thought twice before making unreasonable demands. But he's so tsun he doesn't know how to apologize. Not that it'd really help at that stage.

And god knows England's never courted in his life, he's not FRANCE, and Portugal would be secretly impressed despite himself. LOL YES SPAIN. 'How the hell did you get in here, Tonio?' 'Through the back door Gabi, like I always do. AND IT'S A GOOD THING I DID. HE WAS ABOUT TO SEIZE YOUR VITAL REGIONS.' 'THAT'S NONE OF YOUR CONCERN ANTONIO GTFO. Inglaterra! Speak to me! Are you alright?' (because he obviously fell off the balcony and would hate Spain for centuries to come)

He just has such a deep voice for such a little guy. I love it. I see America often barging in on the Italies and then they return the favour by coming over to his. They're BFF too. And he's not as scary as that jerk England. XD

HAHAHA INORITE? America invents the most amazing things. XD

HE DOES. He certainly does. France is actually good at comforting in general, he just won't admit to it--he only does it when he has the incentive. I'm sure Port wouldn't, and he could use the sympathy. Gah, yeah. Totally. I think I tend to see internal revolutions like that, generally. Oh, poor Port. (I wonder how guilty England felt by THAT point.) THE ULTIMATE FISHERMAN AWARD.

It's true. He really needs to work on that unreasonable demands thing. It's really true. :( Keeps coming back to haunt him. Yeah . . . oh, England.

It's true; complete inexperienced, has no idea what to do, and Portugal would be. And quite flattered. YES YES YES. Oh, Spain, that's why he had to kick your ass during the reign of Elizabeth. You embarrassed him in front of his ladylove Portugal. (And I bet that fall hurt! In armor and all XD.)

He really does. XD Me too! YES. I totally see it this way. Yes yes yes. Someone else who sees this truth.

Yes, yes, he does. Ahahahaha. XD

Such a waste of your non-sexual talents France-niichan. |D But then he wouldn't be France. I can just see him and Spain blockading England from going through their houses to see Portugal after that. Brothers-in-arms and all that. Well they bombed the streets and shelled the royal palace when the monarchy was overthrown and I just imagine Port being manhandled by his new government. Then he turns up at Spain's house bruised and black-eyed and shorn; because his long hair always represented his Empire to me and they hacked it off after that. (SO GUILTY, I CAN'T EVEN. At least I hope.)

Seriously England. You think he would learn. I think in a way it'd be somewhat worse than America's revolution, because this was Portugal and he just effectively ruined a 600 year long relationship in the space of a decade. D:

Those nations from up north are so uncultured and adorable. Port must have found him so precious. SPAIN: COCKBLOCKING NOW FOR A MILLENIUM. hahaha yes, England got his payback and it was a sweet, sweet victory. No one embarrasses him and gets away with it. Especially when Portugal still brings it up. (Srsly. It'd take more than that to kill a nation...BUT STILL.)

He's probably closer to Romano than Veneziano because of all the mafia in the States but yesss. And Spain and Portugal sometimes come too because of all their influence in Latin-America. I love how they're all connected. XD

He just doesn't care as much about those. XD The truth. Oh, man, me too! England all bristly, being all, "Let me pass, you bloody Frog--both of you, I'll kick your arse all over again, Spain, just see if I don't--it's none of your bloody business what's going on between us--" and France going all "As usual, you are a brute barbarian, Angleterre. You have hurt him, and I see no reason why he would want to see you." While Spain is angry and vocal and glowering. Oh--oh, man. That really makes a terrible amount of sense. I mean, most revolutionary government probably do a lot of pretty awful roughing up of their country at first, as the nation is pulled in several different directions at once. I can only imagine how torn he must have been, you know? Oh, man. I--I can just imagine that. Oh . . . oh, Portugal. Both brothers really, around that time. But just Portugal all short-haired and bruised and probably well on his way to a breakdown--oh, man. (GAH, YES. I mean, England is far from heartless--I feel like he'd have felt so terribly guilty he did his ridiculous England thing of never approaching the subject or being able to talk about it at all, and not approaching Portugal with it, either.)

Gah, seriously. I feel like with America's revolution England couldn't deny that it had happened, but that he might not realize how much damage he'd done to his relationship with Portugal at first, and keep trying to keep it going; just not quite acknowledging what he'd done at first. :(

Ahahaha, seriously! Oh, I'm sure he did. Just utterly adorable. HE'S WORKING ON MAKING IT TO TWO. Oh, yes. He so did. England holds a looooong grudge (though not that long, comparatively speaking, in that case). But Portugal would SO TOTALLY still bring it up. (Of course; they're definitely tougher than that. But still. Owww. Probably had the wind knocked out of him at least.)

!!!! I've always seen it that way, too! How is it possible that our headcanon is so similar what. But yessssss. OH MAN me too! It means you can write practically any of them interacting and it's so awesome XDDD.

If he did he wouldn't be getting beat up half as often. |D Spain would probably slam the door in his face, but with a smile on, because Spain is always smiling. He learnt that from his brother. England would be so offended, despite being the source of the problem. France would probably incite him further though, being France. Seriously, Port had about...I think it was 38 prime ministers between 1910 - 1926. He was an absolute MESS. And Spain started falling apart too with the Spanish-American wars and his own Civil War and yes, brothers. ;A; And probably for the first time in forever Port would let Spain give him a hug and let him cry it out. (YES, because he probably thought he'd forget about it and forgive him if he delicately never brought it up again. BUT THE DAMAGE WAS DONE. OH ENGLAND.)

I think it's because he was directly involved with America's Revolution, at least in fighting him. Portugal was more indirect in that sense. And whenever he wanted to meet him Portugal would just let him because he could never turn him away but after hours of awkwardness he'd just...get up and go to his room or something and England wouldn't get what he'd done wrong. AS USUAL.

Just wanted to take him in his arms and snuggle him after awhile. OH SPAIN. BUT YES, HE CERTAINLY IS. hahaha yes, he'll be remembering it for centuries to come, especially when Port has the gall to go 'ahaha oh Inglaterra you remember that night on the balcony?' (Probably got a big old bruise out of it too owww.)

la;skd I don't know, what. GREAT MINDS AS THEY SAY, GREAT MINDS. This is so true. I mean, there are some nations that have probably never interacted on an allied basis, but a majority of the ones I'm interested in have. XD Even RUSSIA had an alliance with Portugal. XD;

It's true. But sometimes I wonder if that's fun for him. That's true. Spain does always smile--I was forgetting. Spain is actually quite difficult for me. But oh, boys. England would be ENRAGED. And hurt. But . . . yeah. Oh, man. Wow. That's pretty awful. No wonder they sort of clung to each other. Poor boys. (Oh, man, he totally did. That's how England's emotion-fail works. AAAH GOD. Oh, England, indeed.)

Yeah, exactly! That's basically what I was thinking. Portugal is more subtle and indirect than America by a long shot, anyway, and just . . . oh, Portugal. You have it so bad for him. Man, no wonder Spain's so protective. GOD YES WHY SO CLUELESS ENGLAND.

Probably after watching him climb up the ivy in full armor--that absolutely dork. HE'S DOING PRETTY WELL SO FAR. He thinks XD. Port would, of course. XD Inciting epic tsundere. XD (Oh, man, I can only imagine. Ouch. But Portugal offered to put something on it the next day or something. Maybe. And England meeeeelted. Completely.)

YES JUST IT'S TRUE. Yeah! Just . . . yeah. Oho, really? I did not know this!

France, a bit of a masochist? Of course~ lol. I love that Spain is always :DDD pretty much, but he was quite a cruel bastard back in the day, both him and Portugal, and it's quite frightening to imagine them both smiling throughout it all. |D I can just see England threatening to start a war with them over it. HE'D WIN, NATURALLY. And a little broken-hearted yes. I think with Spain and Portugal, they kind of come back together as a family when things go wrong, though that's more as people than as nations.

SRSLY. He has it so bad for England that it's almost unhealthy. It's not that he's needy per se, but like England I think he was quite lonely for a very long time and finding someone else who needed company was comforting. YOU SEE WHAT SPAIN HAS TO PUT UP WITH.

He'd be utterly thrilled of course, though more out of the fact that the ivy hadn't broken away from the wall than anything else. HE PROBABLY PASSES HIS SKILLS ON TO THE NEXT GENERATION. hahaha yes, Port just loves reminiscing about old romances. Much to England's embarrassment. XD (Oh yes, he probably invited him up to his room and England had an utterly teenage fit about it. Especially when Port told him to strip and lie down on his bed. Of course in the end all he did was rub ointment on his back. And leave kisses along his spine to apologize. Just because. ;D)

SRSLY. Of course they broke off relations when Port's government turned fascist and started hating on the communists, but they repaired the damage after the 70s. I bet Russia would like to become one with him so he can have a nice, warm place to go to in the winter. XD

Indeed, yes. XD Or at least worth it. Adds to the spice of the whole thing. Spain is so hard for me to get a handle on, haha. Oh, man, it's true, though. Yeah, definitely. Both furious, and so depressed over it, but he'd never admit it, he isn't broken-hearted, not him . . . . *nods* Well, that sort of fits too--sentiment between the two peoples of the countries, rather than politically, you know?

*nods* It really is almost unhealthy, in that he pours so much of himself into it without even really expecting much back. The whole thing was fine while things were great between them, but when England started pulling the asshole routine . . . then it got to be a problem, for sure. Oh, Portugal. You got yourself so hurt there. But I like to think that their . . . friendship is stronger than all the rest of it? Because . . . yes. That loneliness and the sense of comfort there. And they just enjoy each other. THAT CLUELESS ENGLISHMAN IS SURELY JUST TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HIS BIG BROTHER AND IS A GENERAL OFFENSE TO SPAIN'S BETTER NATURE, AS HE'D TELL YOU.

Portugal is just so practical like that. XD He'd be like . . . oh, I'm so glad you didn't fall. HE TRAINED ROMANO IN THE WAYS OF COCKBLOCKING AFTER ALL. Port just loves reminiscing . . . even more nostalgic and prone to remembrance than England, who for all his hang-ups on the past is still very into moving ahead. And when it comes with a bonus of embarrassing England, how can he resist? XD (OH MY GOD. The images. OKAY. THAT FIC GETS WRITTEN AFTER THE OTHER ONE. Ffffff. Stop inspiring me. Ahahahaha. But just . . . yes. Portugal would be so teasing about it, too, but in a way that never crossed the line out of being innocent. Though, I tell you, that must have been when the flirtation started being . . . a bit more than that. ;D)

JUST WOW. Ahahahaha. I bet he would. And some of that booze. All should become one with Russia so he can have better vacation spots. XD And more fun.

He's been beat up so often he no longer feels it. XD I find Spain to be...okay for me as a character, writing wise. Just a bit thick and obsessed with tomatoes, Romano and his big brother haha. England's too tsundere to admit ANYTHING, it's where half his problems start. :/ I think nations are individuals, as well as countries. Even if their people don't always get along it doesn't mean they can't.

Now that's love for you. England just has a habit of pulling the asshole routine, he likes being on top, being in the same league as the world powers even if he's not quite one anymore. By contrast these days Port is one of the poorest nations in Western Europe. I just have this scene in my head with Port and America in the Azores and after having too much to drink Port tells America to be careful around England, because he's lovely and all but he tends to dump nations and move on to better ones once they have nothing more to offer him. Port was great like America once too after all. Because drunk!Port is blatantly obvious to the point of being offensive orz. But they're still BFF at the end of it all. He just doesn't see him as often as he'd like because he's still trying to play Empire. |D SPAIN SHOULD ATTACK HIM WITH HIS KNEES LIKE HE DOES AMERICA.

And he'd finish it off with 'could you imagine what would happen if you ruined the foliage?' because he likes to tease. |D AND ORDERED HIM TO COCKBLOCK IN HIS PLACE IF HE COULDN'T BE THERE FOR SOME REASON OR ANOTHER. Port loves reminiscing about England's fail, because he tries to act all cool nowadays and Port is all fff I knew you when you were still awkward, stop trying. HE DOES IT FOR AMERICA'S BENEFIT TRULY. HE LIKES STORYTIME. (Inorite? Most beautiful mental images ever. AHAHAHA YES. I - I can't help it, the ideas just FLOW. XD And then England couldn't turn around and get up because he had an embarrassing problem and Portugal would see if he did. And he didn't want to look like a pervert. XDDD)

The whole world is Russia's vacation spot~ Even if America keeps trying to stop him haha.

Yes, he's immune. XD I can see it--I need to work on him, and I'll get him. Half? :/ Oh, England. Oh, yes, definitely--I mean, I think they have their own personalities and thoughts and emotions. I just also enjoy stretching the metaphor as far as I possibly can, you know? XD

It's really true. Portugal is really capable of deep loyalty, I think. It's true! He does have a thing about being in at the top of the pile (and honestly, despite not being an empire anymore he's doing a pretty good job of staying up there). It seems like these days Port's decided to forget wealth and influence for a bit and worry about other things. Ohhh, wow. That sounds . . . really pretty powerful, honestly. Poor Portugal, because you know he still loves him, even. And it's not necessarily that I think England would, because he's changed, but . . . there's no reason for Portugal to think that, necessarily. Oh, yeah, for sure. I can just see that. Totally. Oh, definitely! LOL YES YES HE SHOULD.

Oh, yes, definitely. He just doesn't stop with the teasing, and making England blush horribly. OH YES DEFINITELY YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BACKUP. Ahahaha, he would. He just . . . would. XD IT'S NOT FOR HIS OWN BENEFIT AT ALL. (OH YESSS FOR SURE. I . . . I apparently can't help it either. *weeps* Oh, poor hormonal teenage England *snerk*. I'm sure Portugal already knows, dear. But it's true. He'd be so worried about Port thinking he was a dirty pervert. And then later he can't even bring himself to consummate the deed. Oh, England. XD)

That's definitely how Russia sees it--lol :P.
