dear journal,
it has been one week since my last confession. i guess the best place to start is at the beginning...

SATURDAY
after work i drove 2hrs up to Santa Barbara to hang out with Glen, David, and Rob. turns out that Glen is the F'n man there. he took me to every bar and we got the VIP treatment. no waiting in lines cuz he knew all the bouncers, doorgirls, and bartenders. we ran into Kathy at Velvet Jones and took a shot with her. Glen was frustrated cuz there weren't a whole lot of girls out cuz it was the weekend before finals, but i still had fun. after last call, we went to Spearmint Rhino. now i think strip clubs are great...if you have a girlfriend, or someone you can call for some late night fun. but i didn't know anyone there and was 2hrs away from the nearest "friend". so yeah, its safe to say i was sexually frustrated at the end of the night. good thing we were all shitfaced when we got home. how did we get home anyway? i just remember running around in the street for a while, and then i remember Glen kicking my ass back at the house. good times!

SUNDAY
after about 5hrs of sleep (thats actually a lot) i had to wake up and drive 2hrs back to LA for my b-ball game at 12. luckily i didn't have a hangover, and dammit if i didn't have a nice game. i always play better the day after some heavy drinking. but i crashed once i got home, i prolly got about 4hrs of sleep...which is why i think my insomnia is kicking in now.

WEDNESDAY
not being able to sleep for the past couple of days finally took its toll on me. i could've potentially gotten myself and my manager at the bank fired. i took a deposit and it asked for a hold on the funds, but for some reason i overrode it (when i have no authority to do so). the guy comes back a lil bit later and withdraws $8500. a couple hours later, the fraud department calls and tells us that a check the guy deposited a couple days ago was fraud and he's been withdrawing the money from it. so now my manager is freaking out cuz i overrode the deposit he made. fortunately for me, my officer called the guy and he came in. turns out that he sold his truck and the guy he sold it to gave him a fraud check. so the customer put all the money he withdrew back into his account...and we're all safe now.

but this whole thing really made me realize how hard i've been pushing myself lately, and it really hasn't been because of work. i've just been going out wayyy too much.
