Abby, I am going to miss you terribly. I wanted you to help me enlist a crowd to say "welcome to camp" to Claire. Last Saturday she told me noone ever says that to her, because she is always the first one there. Made us both cry.
But, I know that some day Jack will join you (if only for dock workshop, like Troy) and it will be fabulous.
Craziness at work kept me busy. Along with long comptemplative e-mails and fun IM'ing with MR (my niece).
Tonight I went through old letters and Journals. I am a lot older than I remembered, and smarter than I realized. I guess you take the good with the bad.
We are all getting ready for a long, hot weekend. Camping with the f-i-l in western Illinois. I'll bring a good book.
