Jack had to have surgury in April. $5,000. Him out of work for 3 weeks.
My grandma in Phoenix had triple bypass and is doing really poorly. She is likely not making it to the wedding and all she wants (mentioned a zillion times) is to meet Jack. 2 tickets to Phoenix for a long weekend $1,200.
Bought a house in Sept... still recouping.
Summer school was offered to me for the first time ever because someone with more senority passed. intake of $1,500 for 4 weeks of work. They overlap camp.
My parents are drivign down some of my delicate stuff (Xmas ornaments, other grandma's weddign china etc...) that you can't ship that is still not here. They can only be here from the 4th-10th.
It's not an option right now. There is no money and that timeline is not possible. It sucks. I don't like it but, liek other people in my age group who can't make a year or 2 cause of life, I'll be back.
I'll miss you tons and be sad to miss saying good bye to the place. A lot I'll miss both of those.
I am so bummed. Every time I think about it being the last week at this place I am just stunned. Talked to my sister last week - she hadn't thought of LGSA in years and was shocked to hear I was going. Even my kids are sad about the last year and you not being there.
When do we get to meet Jack?

Won't be at camp this year. Can't afford it and can't not work summer school which overlaps. Share a dream for me? I will be longing for you all!

Camp will be good without me... you'll find a million things to do. There are always more things and people to do than there is time for.
