New Exercise Schedule . . . OF DOOM!!!

So yeah. After the revelation that my girlfriend is about a billion times better looking than I can ever be, and that I'm out of shape and have gotten quite slow, I'm working on a workout routine for myself. Nothing too extreme, but something that should have results in a reasonable amount of time. I'll probably be adjusting my diet too, but really, one thing at a time. The only thing I've really cemented down is a six mile walk on Fridays, but I've come up with a theoretical schedule for other stuff too. I'm thinking Mondays can be sword practice, about two hours of practicing swings. Tuesdays can be situp days, starting off light with 100 a day. Wednesdays can be practicing my punch and kick forms, making sure I keep up on the basic necessities, Thursdays probably more situps, and I'll figure out something for the weekends later. Shouldn't be too intensive, and of course I'll adjust the amounts and/or times as time progresses to still be effective, but I don't think I'll have to for anything but the situps. I'll probably get a weight set eventually too to beef up my arms, but the sword practice might be enough for that without shelling out a dime, which would be cool. I'll also need to figure out when to stick in a stretching routine. I'm thinking probably a half hour before and after each exercise session, which'll be pretty cool. I can barely kick over my head now, which occurs to me to be pretty inflexible. In any case, I think it's pretty wise of me to get it started now, while the weather is tolerable. I'll probably get me a treadmill or something for summer use, so I don't have to go outside, but I think by then I might loosen up on the training regiment. I mean, keeping that sort of schedule for too long would just make me too big and odd looking. I don't really care about sheer power so much as just slimming down a bit and getting into what I consider fair shape. Plus, I figure that'll give me more stamina so that I can do more in the day, eat a bit less, and maybe pick up a second job without feeling worn out. Seems like a solid plan right now, but we'll see how it pans out.

P.S. If anyone sees a copy of Rhapsody in a store/online, please let me know ASAP. It slipped through my fingers Saturday and I feel a burning need to purchase it.
