World of Warcraft Videos

Feb 21, 2008 13:08

ladyarkham and I were discussing World of Warcraft videos, and she said she was interested in seeing some of them. Therefore, I am making a list.

Shade of Aran Chant: The Shade of Aran is an endgame boss-I believe in Karazhan-who has a spell called Flame Wreath. Once he casts it, all 10 people in the raid (I believe Kara is a 10-man raid, not a 40) gets damaged whenever anyone moves (or something to that effect occurs). Some guy wrote a 6-7 part chant about it. Or at least, he wrote words to an existing chant and sung it in regards to World of Warcraft. Either way, he needs a life more badly than I do.

Big Blue Dress: I'm a mage, so this video always amuses me. Twill-the item in which the songwriter claims a sufficently skilled mage can look quite good-is, as far as I know, the gray cloth set that ranges in level from 51-59. You could PvP in it, I suppose, though you would have to be more hard-core than I am or resigned to much death.

Ballad of the Noob: Again, too much spare time.

ROFLMAO: A surprisingly good parody of Mahna Mahna, and a somewhat amusing commentary on leetspeek.

Anti-Elf Anthem: The guy who made the last one made this one as well. It highly amuses me because we Horde members don't like night elves. His other videos are largely very good, as well.

And, of course, the Jonathan Coulton music videos:
Code Monkey
re: Your Brains
Skullcrusher Mountain
Creepy Doll (I totally have the book the undead guy is holding)
Chiron Beta Prime
The Future Soon
...And some others which you can probably find linked from the above.

I'm really pretty sure I had more, but I can't think of any offhand.
