Woo Netflix

Dec 10, 2007 13:47

I received a month of Netflix rentals as a Christmas gift, which will serve me nicely over Christmas break. But first I need to figure out what I want to get.

I also might add that I usually just nod and agree when someone recommends a movie/TV show/book. This is why. ^_^

I have a one-at-a-time subscription, and a movie takes a day to go through the mail system, so theoretically I will actually have access to 7-15 of these. Though I will be away for a week in the middle, so probably more like 5-8.

Possibilities (vaguely in order of interest) (I have never seen most of these):
[Movies]
As many MST3Ks as I can find (Well... maybe not all 115 of them. Definitely Manos: Hands of Fate, Merlin's Mystical Shop of Wonders, and, in accordance with the Christmas season, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians)
Heroes (!)
X-Men 2
X-Men 3
Spider-Man 3
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Ocean's Eleven
The Bourne Ultimatum
Superman Returns
The Day of the Triffids (which my parents have wanted to watch with me for a while)
Blade Runner
Blade
The Lathe of Heaven--I wrote a book report on it in high school, and it was very good. I'm interested in the movie interpretation.
Aeon Flux
I, Robot
The Legend of Zorro
Peter Jackson's King Kong
The Chronicles of Riddick
300
Alien
Highlander sequels (just to say I've seen them, and that they are that bad)
Shaun of the Dead
Underworld
Office Space
The Notebook
The Brothers Grimm
Never Cry Wolf
Hidalgo
Dr Who and the Daleks (old-school Dr Who ^_^)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Starship Troopers
Clash of the Titans
Plan 9 from Outer Space

[Anime]
Fullmetal Alchemist
Rurouni Kenshin
Ghost in the Shell (1-2)
Avatar: The Last Airbender (^^')
My Neighbor Totoro
Kiki's Delivery Service
Cowboy Bebop (I think they only have the movie)
Princess Mononoke (I've seen it, but it's been a while)

This list makes me feel significantly more nerdular. But that's okay.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

nerdity, movies
