I recently learned that opening day of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 occurs on March 25, 2007. March 25 happens to be annual Towel Day, the day commemorating Douglas Adams, in which any true fan carries around a towel all day.
It also happens to coincide with my school's Senior Skip Day, the second to last Friday of the school year in which few seniors show up for school.
