Okay, so, I think my favorite thing about this is how easy their interactions are. It's really sweet to read, for one, but I think it is also just really good characterization, how the only thing that complicates them is Zayn's hesitation (and how endearing is his awkwardness, man: He shreds a piece of grass between his fingers, just to have something to do. and --spends most of it giving himself a mental pep talk.) And Niall's a little bolder, like He licks his lips, then looks back up at Zayn with a sheepish sort of smile. (and I feel like this is their dynamic here, in a nutshell) but ends up following Zayn's lead in the end. What a mess this paragraph is turning out to be, but yes. I just really like the way you wrote them, Niall's honest energy and Zayn's more anxious (relative) calmness and how easily that fits together ( ... )

Oh man, thaaaaank you. This comment is lovely, and I'm so glad the characterizations worked for you. That's always a tough part of writing fic, and then to hear people say it worked from them is just !!!

And I just love it when sex scenes are silly and full of laughter along with being sexy. Not to mention, I just feel like there would be a lot of laughter involved in sex with Niall. And that's awesome that it was easy to picture where they were; it sucks when you get pulled out of a scene because you're too busy wondering whose leg is where and whose on top of whom now.
